Responsibilities
Assemble prototype and preproduction RF amplifier modules and assemblies from sketches and assembly drawings
Testing and troubleshooting of RF amplifiers, power supply, and control circuits
Development of product manuals, assembly, and test procedures for manufacturing
Determine optimal materials and assembly techniques for preproduction units
Collaborate with engineering to modify prototypes and meet design requirements
Review working prototypes and recommend efficient production layouts
Coordinate with purchasing and engineering teams on material delivery status
Assist incoming inspection with acceptance or rejection of new parts
Expedite material movement to designated engineers or location
Able to lift large assemblies up to 100lbs
Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and work-in-progress
Recommend process improvements and product changes
Qualification
Required
High School plus 1-3 years in electronic manufacturing fabrication experience
Must be able to interpret sketches, drawings, part list and process documentation
Ability and willingness to train personnel in electronic manufacturing fabrication
