Intern - Sales Operations

Riddell is seeking an ambitious, results-oriented Sales Operations Intern to support our sales team in driving operational excellence. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional departments, contribute to key projects, and improve sales operational efficiency through process improvements and technology enhancements.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Sales Operations in managing schedule, documentation, analysis, and problem solving while learning and understanding the sales process
Attend meetings, collaborate with team members, and support day-to-day tasks and operations as needed
Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to track business metrics and sales performance
Participate in strategic projects, including sales kickoff meeting prep, order tracking and entry, as well as the enhancement of internal procedures. Additionally, evaluate, test, and integrate new sales tools and systems designed to enhance sales productivity
Help identify and execute process improvements within the sales life cycle and work with other departments to formulate a solution
Work closely with IT, Sales Support, Customer Care, Decoration Specialists, OSV purchasing, Planning, Scheduling and Operations to streamline sales processes and improve operational efficiency
Help research and prepare materials for PowerPoint presentations. Support with various tasks including content creation for our yearly sales kickoff meeting, ongoing training, onboarding, and reporting

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program
Strong proficiency with MS Office applications
Strong systems proficiency in SAP
Understanding of sales processes and procedures
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, ever-changing business environment
Ability to establish and maintain productive and effective interactions with multiple departments
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn new software and tools quickly

Preferred

Majors in Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, or similar field of study
