This role will lead and coach a small team of Network Developers (sales) focused on recruiting new veterinary practices into the Pet Assure Network
Own the sales strategy and execution for growing the Pet Assure Veterinary Network, setting clear goals, KPIs, and accountability standards for the Network Development team
Personally engage in sales activity, including direct outreach and relationship-building with veterinary practices, to personally sign up new practices and model best-in-class sales performance
Manage, mentor, and develop Network Developers, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide coaching, training, and regular feedback to drive results
Develop and refine long-term strategies to position the Pet Assure Network as the preferred choice among U.S. veterinarians, including value-add programs and incentives that enhance practice engagement. Build relationships with vet practices to understand their needs and refine the value proposition of the Pet Assure program
Create tracking and reporting frameworks to measure program performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive continual improvement
Drive pipeline growth through proactive outreach, partnerships, and inbound lead management. Partner with Marketing to optimize lead generation, audience segmentation, and campaign performance
Establish and oversee tracking and reporting frameworks to monitor individual and team performance, identify growth opportunities, and ensure accountability against defined metrics
Collaborate with the Shepherd Veterinary Sales and Onboarding to align messaging, provide sales enablement tools, and ensure consistent communication of the Pet Assure value proposition
Refine and scale onboarding processes for both Pet Assure and DVM Galaxy new practices, ensuring a smooth, consistent, and brand-aligned experience
Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary practices to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and identify opportunities for increased engagement and retention
Act as a key internal advocate for network veterinarians, sharing insights that inform marketing, service offerings, and operational improvements

Required

3–5 years of experience in program management, partnerships, or business development, ideally within healthcare, veterinary, insurance, or SaaS
Proven success in growing and managing external partner networks or B2B relationships
Excellent organizational and project management skills — ability to manage multiple initiatives at once
Data-driven mindset with comfort using CRM tools and reporting dashboards (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Excel)

Passion for animals and/or veterinary care a plus
