Building Automation Controls Technician

Responsibilities

Perform routine daily inspections of all control systems in the park
Troubleshoot and repair control systems in the park
Setup and install control systems for new and existing units
Set up schedule and adjust set points for controls with minimal supervision
Perform bench and field repair of control systems throughout the park
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Electrical wiring/devices, motor overhauls and maintenance/troubleshooting of controls and other automated equipment and monitoring devices
Utilize the necessary tools required by this position including but not limited to: Multimeter, Network testers, basic hand tools, drills, saws, and other devices
Perform duties including but not limited to safety, environmental, asset management and other administrative documentation
Use chemicals and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with all company policies and procedures
Utilize safe handling, storage, and disposal practices with toxic substances and hazardous waste
Responsible for adhering to all trainings related to SOP’s, safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company standards
Perform other miscellaneous duties as required including assisting other locations, departments, and areas in the park, as needed
Provide exceptional, professional guest service in a team environment
Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Be at least 18 years old
Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License and able to meet our company's driving guidelines
Working knowledge of HVAC Systems including Hydronics and Air systems
Electrical experience in Low voltage controls, devices and installation
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on and interpret manufacturers' manuals
Possess or be able to obtain certification to operate mechanical devices including, forklift, man-lift within 90 days of acceptance of position and maintain certification
Ability to work through problems using various troubleshooting methods
Have a working knowledge of various building/installation codes as well as OSHA regulations
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Strong Mathematical skills
Excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectation, and needs
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings
Working knowledge of hand, and power tools
Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs
Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed
Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
