Responsibilities
Management of engineers distributed across Europe and the US
Align the team with business and product goals by working closely with product management
Ensure predictable delivery and operational excellence of the components the teams ship
Facilitate communication across teams and status reporting for critical projects
Hire and retain talent
Hold a high bar for engineering excellence
Qualification
Required
Must be currently located in the US: Eastern time zone
5+ years of experience directly managing high-performing engineering teams
Additional 5+ years of professional experience as an IC software engineer
Strong background in systems, infrastructure, or platform engineering
Proven professional experience leading teams working on complex, safety-critical, or reliability-focused systems
Ability to reason about isolation, security boundaries, and failure modes in production systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a distributed, cross-time-zone environment
