Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a Master's degree program in a top Canadian University in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, or Mathematics)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Very good communication skills in English (written and oral)
Hands-on experience contributing to data science, machine learning, deep learning, or GenAI projects in Python. Could be during past internships/work experience, for class projects, contributing to an open-source project, or for personal projects
Demonstrable portfolio of data science / machine learning projects
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch) and/or GenAI/Agentic frameworks (e.g., transformers, langchain/langgraph, llamaindex, OpenAI Agents SDK, crewAI)
Command of at least one data analysis and processing library (e.g., pandas, SQL, Spark, Dask)
Experience with visualization libraries (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly)
Strong work ethics and ability to deal with confidential information
Knowledge of French and English is required
