They are seeking a Cafe Team Member to engage with guests, maintain operational efficiency, and demonstrate self-leadership in a supportive environment. This role involves hands-on experience in food and beverage production and community leadership while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for fellow students.

Responsibilities

Engage with cafe guests to create a culture of hospitality

Understand the entire food and beverage menu to provide suggestions to guests and answer any questions they may have

Effectively manage and solve guest recovery situations when they occur

Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the entire cafe

Efficiently complete all tasks and prep as assigned by Team Lead and/or Student Cafe Executive Officer (CEO)

Demonstrate open communication, self-awareness, and the ability to take initiative to improve cafe operations and atmosphere

Collaborate with a diverse team in a fast-paced service environment to live Saxbys Mission and Core Values

Ability to remember and recall details of a complex menu and operations

Previous hospitality experience preferred, but not required
