Engineering Assistant IV

Responsibilities
Fabricates and/or modifies complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine
Prefer familiarity with operating an MRSI 705 and 175
Should be familiar with die attach (MMICs, IC's, caps, diodes and resistors) on complex modules
Must be able to work with a microscope for an entire shift
Prefer ability to fabricate and/or modify complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies
Prefer experience working with adhesives and epoxies
Prefer experience in reworking microwave assembly units, including remove and replace as well as bonding rework
Computer competency and English literacy is required to ensure the candidate will be capable of following instruction/safety guidelines
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
4+ years work experience in Microwave Assembly
Computer competency
English literacy
Preferred
Familiarity with operating an MRSI 705 and 175
Ability to fabricate and/or modify complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies
Experience working with adhesives and epoxies
Experience in reworking microwave assembly units, including remove and replace as well as bonding rework
