Responsibilities

Assist in environmental site assessments and field investigations, including soil, water, and air sampling
Support preparation of environmental reports, including Phase I/II ESA, wetland delineations, and habitat assessments
Collect and organize data for regulatory compliance (e.g., stormwater, erosion control, endangered species)
Help with GIS mapping and spatial analysis for environmental constraints
Participate in construction site inspections to ensure adherence to environmental regulations
Research local, state, and federal environmental regulations relevant to civil engineering projects
Collaborate with engineers and scientists on sustainable design solutions

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program
Attention to detail
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred

Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
Demonstrated knowledge of arcGIS and Microsoft Office software
Preference given to local candidates
