Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks
Electrical diagnosis of starting & charging systems
Air conditioning & heating component identification & inspection
Wheel end assembly component identification & inspection
Air system component identification & inspection
Air brakes component identification & inspection
Hydraulics component identification and inspection
Truck preventative maintenance
Qualification
Required
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some nights/weekends or holidays
Willingness to uphold the values and expectations at Republic Services, including safety, ethics, and respect
Must be willing to travel to & live in Dallas, Texas for 9 weeks of in-person training
Upon successful completion of the program, candidate must be willing to relocate to the assigned location throughout the United States
Commitment to completing the two-year Technician Apprenticeship program
Logical problem solver with an interest in engineering and technology
