Responsibilities
Design and oversee municipal infrastructure projects including roadways, stormwater management, and utility systems
Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct site planning and assessments to determine project feasibility and requirements
Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure project success
Perform quality control checks on project plans and constructions to ensure adherence to specifications
Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory agencies
Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
Qualification
Required
4+ years in Civil Engineering, municipal water/wastewater, roadway projects
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; Engineer in Training (EIT) certification acceptable
Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
Familiarity with water/WW, stormwater, sewer and roadway projects
Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards, codes and regulations
Experience in quality control and assurance for civil engineering projects
Demonstrated experience in project engineering within the municipal infrastructure sector
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
