The role involves managing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining efficient logistics processes.

Responsibilities
Complete daily logs and documentation
Use RF scanning equipment to perform distribution functions
Receive and provide Bills of Lading to carriers and drivers
Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for receiving and reporting activities
Validate and record inbound and outbound data
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization (sweeping, mopping, consolidation, inventories)
Ensure compliance with all safety codes, policies, and procedures
Follow quality expectations per SOP or customer requirements
Request/receive ETAs and update managers on truck arrival times
Check in and out truck drivers and assign loading/unloading doors
Allocate, print, and distribute pick lists
Receive, ship, and enter data into operating systems
Maintain records for all incoming/outgoing shipments
Generate accurate pick lists, packing lists, and POD recovery documentation
Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, operations, and management
Perform filing, inbound/outbound calls, radio communication, and data entry
Support continual improvements in efficiency and service
Support the food safety program through proper filing/documentation
Provide on-the-job training for new employees
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years old
Minimum 6 months logistics or shipping/receiving experience
Minimum 6 months basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Manual dexterity for operating a computer and warehouse systems
Ability to work flexible hours/days
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Detail-oriented with good math skills
Ability to multitask, solve problems, and meet deadlines independently or with supervision
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
Previous auditing experience
Previous physical inventory experience
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
