Responsibilities
Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and automated test scripts using LabVIEW and TestStand
Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage
Utilize scripting languages such as C# and Python for automation and test development
Manage version control and build automation processes to streamline testing workflows
Track and report bugs using bug tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders
Engage in Test Driven Development (TDD) practices to enhance software reliability and performance
Conduct network testing protocols utilizing TCP, UDP, and multicast
Integrate and validate instrument drivers for power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior testing engineers
Maintain and enhance next-generation test platforms to improve testing efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems testing with a focus on LabVIEW and TestStand
Strong programming skills in C# and Python
Experience with version control systems and build automation tools
Familiarity with test automation frameworks and methodologies
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile testing practices
Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP, UDP, and multicast
Hands-on experience with electronic instrumentation such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance from the Department of Defense (DoD)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
