Pricing Analyst

nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for developing pricing strategies, conducting profitability analytics, and supporting the pricing operations team with data-driven insights to enhance pricing efficiency.

Responsibilities

Collaborate within business segment to recommend pricing strategies and models based upon current business and driven global dynamics
Develop price and price realization forecasting models to understand impact of pricing changes on revenue and margin expansion
Perform product and customer profitability analytics
Use data analytics, including target price guidance, data-driven recommendation implementing DOA (Delegation of Authority) thresholds, regional price variability recommendations, driven indexing, ship-and-debit claims impact analytic, price waterfall model, cost-to-serve analysis as well as AgenticAI price models
Monitor price performance metrics and perform periodic price analysis for product lines, region, customers
Support the pricing operations team with analytics and tools for pricing process efficiencies
Collaborate cross-functionally to acquire technical and cost data for development of price analysis

Required

Bachelor's Degree; Business, Marketing, Finance or Economics
2+ years' experience analyzing data in pricing, sales, finance, or marketing
Demonstrated ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and produce consistent measurable results

Preferred

MBA preferred
Experience in the electrical industry is a plus
Knowledge performing competitive analysis, price volume mix analysis, machine learning and AI algorithms
