Systems Engineer (SE2) (Government)
AT&T Global Public Sector is a trusted provider of secure, IP enabled, cloud-based, network solutions and professional services to the Federal Government. They are seeking a Systems Engineer to support Public Sector Solutions, requiring a minimum of 5 days office presence per week in Laurel, MD.

Responsibilities
Operating System experience: Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat) to include maintenance, upgrades, security patching, and IAVA compliance
Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (Perl, Java, Python)
Ability to understand application requirements, application implementation, and Operating System optimization for applications
Excellent problem solving skills that demonstrate the candidate can effectively analyze data to implement proper solutions
Creating documentation to detail and outline technical solutions / application installations
Qualification
Required

Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (Perl, Java, Python)
Ability to understand application requirements, application implementation, and Operating System optimization for applications

Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
TS/SCI with poly (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)
Preferred
Knows the details behind TLS protocols, cipher configurations, client PKI certificate authentication, OCSP, trust stores etc
Experience with STS applications such as PingFederate, Oracle OIF, KeyCloak, or Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services
Familiarity with Active Directory or LDAP (DIT hierarchical structure design)
Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IdAM) protocols such as SAML and OAUTH/OIDC
Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level II (CASP, CISSP, CAP)
