BEPC Inc. is seeking a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer specializing in Gas Turbine Engine Rotor Dynamics & System/Transient Dynamics Engineering to support Honeywell’s E&PS System Engineering Engine Dynamics group. This role focuses on design, development, and analysis of propulsion engines and APUs, with significant responsibility for rotor dynamics, shafting analyses, and system dynamics.

Responsibilities

Perform design and analysis using complex finite element methods
Provide technical oversight to global engineering teams across time zones
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Conduct requirements validation , risk management, and compliance assessments
Support project and product compliance activities
Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
Support process development and improvement initiatives
Participate in design reviews and collaborate with internal/external customers

Qualification

Required

At least 5 years of aerospace rotor dynamics analysis experience
At least 5 years of Fan Blade Out (FBO) transient analysis experience
Strong English communication skills for technical reporting and presentations
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum 5 years performing rotor or system dynamic transient analyses for aerospace turbomachinery applications
Expertise in rotor dynamics
Expertise in linear static and nonlinear analyses
Expertise in transient, fatigue (HCF & LCF), shock, harmonic, random vibration, crack growth
Strong proficiency with ANSYS or NASTRAN FEA tools
Ability to perform classical hand calculations

Preferred

Ability to mentor others
Experience with new product development in regulated environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization
Proven track record contributing to product and project success
Strong communication skills, written and oral
