Key Account Manager, Encore Surgical Dressing (DME)
Extremity Care is seeking a Key Account Manager for their Surgical Dressing DME division. The KAM will be responsible for cultivating relationships with high-value clients, driving revenue growth, and ensuring superior service delivery while collaborating with internal teams to meet client needs.

Responsibilities
Develop and strengthen relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and liaison
Execute strategic account planning to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks
Drive sales growth within designated accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic alignment
Monitor client performance metrics, ensuring targets are met and service expectations are exceeded
Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless client support
Provide regular market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and business strategy
Maintain accurate account records and activity reporting within CRM systems
Travel domestically up to 60% to attend offsite meetings, conferences, and support business initiatives
Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures
Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality for scheduled work hours and meetings
Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities within defined timeframes
Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within the wound care or medical device industry
Clearance of favorable background investigation required
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple high-value accounts and complex projects simultaneously
Proficient in contract negotiation, business planning, and resolving client issues
Self-motivated and results-driven with a strategic, customer-centric mindset
Adaptable to changing client priorities and evolving market dynamics
Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
Familiarity with DME sales, reimbursement, and healthcare systems is a plus
