Responsibilities

Design, program, debug, test, install, and support automated manufacturing systems and equipment to drive continuous improvement
Integrate robots, PLCs, pneumatics, sensors, actuators, and vision systems for packaging and handling processes
Provide day-to-day support for manufacturing operations
Create documentation and deliver technical training on equipment and processes
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
Integrate purchased and custom-designed equipment solutions
Support cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects
Provide electrical, mechanical, software, and control systems expertise
Support product commercialization teams

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics engineering (or related field)
3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred

Experience with process automation and control systems
Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation PLCs and HMIs
Proficient with ladder logic for Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLCs (RSLogix 5000, RSLogix 500, Studio 5000 Logix Designer, etc.)
Proficient with SolidWorks (or similar software)
Experience with industrial robot programming and integration – preferably Epson
Strong troubleshooting skills solving electrical, mechanical, and software problems
Quick to adapt and work effectively in a team
Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas to peers and management
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
