Responsibilities

Design and lead hackathon and contest programs that drive product adoption and community engagement
Own and scale an advocacy program to empower and enable passionate users to champion Figma
Develop recognition and awards programs that spotlight community contributions and celebrate innovation
Partner cross-functionally with product marketing, developer marketing, brand, events, and the broader community team to integrate community programs into key launches and moments
Define, track, and report success metrics across growth, retention, advocacy, and adoption

Required

5+ years of experience in community engagement, marketing, or related fields
Proven experience running community programs at scale (e.g., hackathons, awards, ambassador/advocacy programs)
Strong operations and program management background—you know how to build frameworks that scale
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with marketing, product, events, and brand teams
A strategic mentality with a hands-on approach; you're comfortable switching between high-level planning and detailed execution
A passion for community building and a track record of creating engaging, meaningful experiences
