The CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills, lathes, and manual machines while ensuring high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Interpret work orders, blueprints, orthographic drawings, and GD&T symbols to plan machining work

Program and operate 3-Axis CNC mills using G-code and conditional logic

Set up zero/reference points, tool registers, offsets, and compensation

Perform drilling, tapping, turning, facing, and cutting operations

Conduct precision measurements and first-run inspections

Troubleshoot machining issues and reprogram as needed

Operate manual mills/lathes and other shop equipment (drill press, wet saw, belt sander, hydraulic press)

Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and tool management

Monitor and manage stock inventory levels and requisitions
