Responsibilities
Ensure robust software update support for all consumer/commercial vehicles by proactively managing software updates and anomalies across Rivian’s global fleet
Responsible for predicting, testing, and validating OTA and vehicle telematics solutions, end to end in partnership with Rivian Engineering and other teams
Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, design to onboard and validate new OTA integrations, solutions, and features prior to releasing to production and drive better system design
Perform data analysis to maintain and monitor fleet health across the Rivian fleet
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years working as technical engineer within the IoT, fleet management/ wireless/networking, or connected car/EV industries
Experience with IoT solutions that involve complex OTA campaigns, fleet management software lifecycle management
Preferred
Experience with networked embedded systems (CAN, Ethernet, LIN, DOIP, ISOTP)
Experience with embedded flashing protocols (UDS, XCP)
Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics and common UDS services
Familiarity with cybersecurity, TCP/IP systems
