Next Generation, Inc. (NGI) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and execute all aspects of technology projects. The role involves managing projects in various specialties including systems analysis, application development, and PC/LAN support, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.

Education Management

Responsibilities

Manage and execute all aspects of assigned technology projects from initiation through completion
Lead projects in one or more specialized areas:
Systems/Business Analysis
Development and Implementation of Applications in a Networked PC Environment
PC/LAN Support
Technical Writing
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements
Oversee project scheduling, implementation, and evaluation activities
Identify and mitigate project risks while managing scope and change control
Communicate effectively with technical teams and user communities to ensure project alignment with business goals
Prepare status reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and senior leadership

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline
8+ years of experience in one or more technical specialties listed above
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager (PMP certification desirable)
Strong understanding of technical issues and systems environments
Proven experience in creating comprehensive project plans and managing full project lifecycles
Exceptional organizational, planning, and scheduling skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with both user communities and technical staff

Preferred

PMP or other recognized project management certification
Experience managing projects in both agile and waterfall environments
Familiarity with enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure
