Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales of company products and services
Understand customers’ technical needs and provide tailored solutions that meet those requirements
Design components in Autodesk Inventor which would involve converting some older AutoCAD 2D drawings into newer 3D models
Explaining complex technical information to customers in a way that is easy to understand
Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process
Updating records of customer communications and relevant opportunity information
Following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise
Develop a knowledge of competing products and services
Qualification
Required
Degree in Engineering, Business, Drafting, a related field or relevant experience
Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role
Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor, CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of technical products and services
Ability to review, analyze and understand project specifications, project drawings, and project designs
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
