This role involves financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, compliance, and internal controls, ensuring the integrity of financial information and supporting operational and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements in accordance with Hyatt and local requirements
Assist with annual budget preparation and rolling forecasts
Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide explanations and recommendations to management
Support the preparation of reports required by ownership and corporate teams
Manage accounts payable and receivable operations
Ensure compliance with Hyatt’s financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and P&L accuracy
Ensure proper controls over cash handling, purchasing, and expense authorization
Supervise and develop the Finance team, fostering growth and continuous learning
Provide training and guidance to department heads on financial management and accountability
Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize efficiency and cost management while maintaining service quality
Act as a resource for problem-solving and decision support across the property
Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as required
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations, and industry practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in hospitality or a service industry
Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Advanced Excel and financial systems skills (experience with Hyatt systems such as BirchStreet, Hyperion, or equivalent)
