They are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer specializing in Linux to support the design and implementation of Front End Processing systems, interfacing with management and team members to develop the environment from requirements.

Responsibilities

You will leverage the company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with design, development, implementation, and support of the on-premises Front End Processor (FEP) solution, to include Software-based FEPs (SoftFEP) or hardware-based appliance FEPs implementations

You will configure & implement Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) scripts to manage the configuration and troubleshoot the FEP

You will design, implement, generate code through scripting tools, test, document, and maintain the system

You will assist with the development of test and integration configurations, optimizing FEP performance across the environment

You will provide guidance on FEP resource allocation & utilization

You will assist engineers with tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices

You will configure and manage network connectivity for the FEP system

You will operate FEP hardware / software diagnostic tools

You will set up and configure the FEP software simulator tools

You will provide support for maintenance & test activities for the factory and within operational facilities

Required

Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and a minimum 5 years of related work experience

Thorough background in on premise RHEL Based infrastructure design

Experience designing an integrated system that includes network, computer, and specialized FEP equipment

Experience with configuring and maintaining Common Cryptographic equipment in a secure environment

Active and current TS/SCI / CI Poly security clearance is required day 1, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
