Algotale Group is seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with experience in SAP ECC and HANA environments to support their SAP-to-Incorta report migration initiative. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying ABAP programs, as well as collaborating with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows
Optimize existing ABAP code and queries for performance tuning
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Analyze existing SAP ECC and HANA-based reports (ALV, classical, and custom) to identify data sources, logic, and dependencies
Work on interfaces and data migration using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services
Support unit testing, data validation, and reconciliation between SAP and Incorta environments
Document all developments, enhancements, and configurations following best practices
Participate in code reviews, technical documentation of data extraction logic, dependencies, and reusable components and knowledge sharing sessions

Required

5–7 years of experience in SAP ABAP development across SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
Strong experience with Reports (Classical, ALV, Interactive & Custom)
Strong experience with Enhancements (User Exits, BADI, BAPI, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements)
Strong experience with IDOCs, Interfaces, and Data Dictionary
Familiarity with transport management, version control, and debugging tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile, cross-functional environment

Preferred

Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 integration and OData services
