GSE Sales Manager (Remote)
VAT Group is a leading international developer and manufacturer of high-performance vacuum valves and sealing technology. The GSE Sales Manager will lead a U.S. sales team, drive growth strategies, and build relationships with key customers to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing U.S. sales team to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets
Take full sales ownership for assigned territories and/or key strategic customers
Develop and execute growth strategies to expand market presence and increase wallet share with existing accounts
Build and maintain productive, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and technical stakeholders at major customer accounts and distribution partners
Partner with VAT’s Business Units to define and close large-scale, technically complex opportunities
Oversee the technical and commercial development of customized customer solutions and proposals
Ensure the quality and consistency of sales execution, including preparation, tracking, and closing of offers
Continuously monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to guide strategy and team priorities
Plan and oversee product presentations, trade shows, and local marketing activities, in coordination with headquarters
Participate actively in sales meetings, supporting strategic planning, forecasting, and performance reviews
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity
Strong technical background in mechanical engineering or related field
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills — able to motivate and guide a distributed sales team
Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-driven, with a strategic and analytical mindset
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels
Comfortable with 50–60% travel, both domestically and internationally
Proficient in MS Office and experienced with ERP systems
Preferred
Proven success in the semiconductor, mechanical engineering, or vacuum industries preferred
