Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting and guiding Project Managers and Project Teams within the business to drive positive revenue performance and maximize profit
Interpret metrics and KPIs and to be able to set up methodologies for the Unit teams to track metrics and KPIs
Perform contract review for the financial section of contracts
Track and entry of change order review
Review subconsultants financial data, review invoices and track budget
Perform billing coordination, review of invoices, and manage workflow to improve DWCO
Perform analysis of working capital to ensure WIP are billed, and debts collected to drive positive cash
Support client coordination on financial compliance, invoice submission & timely payments
Serve as Project Manager for internal projects
Track budget against plan, review cost, analyze non-billables, review of credit memos
Perform revenue recognition evaluation, earned value trending, forecasting, and compile other key project indicators
Support monthly progress reviews from a financial perspective
Perform financial reporting on revenue from projects and working capital to Unit leadership
Where requested, attend commercial review meetings to evaluate financial performance
Explore opportunities for automation and use of digital tools for improved efficiency
Implement business analytics dashboards such as PowerBI Dashboards, Power Automate, Power apps and other tools for Business Process Automation
Where requested, assist in proposals to ensure Group required ROI metrics are being achieved
Perform risk contingency analysis and monitoring support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a directly related field
Four (4) years of experience as an Accountant or related occupation involving corporate project accounting
Four (4) years working with financial internal controls consistent with COSO internal control framework or similar internal control frameworks
Four (4) years utilizing MS Office programs including Word and PowerPoint at an advanced level
Four (4) years in financial accounting, including assessing the impact of journal entries and accounting adjustments on financial statements
Four (4) years in Advanced Excel, including experience with VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, and similar functionality
Three (3) years in management experience, including supervision and coordination of responsibilities
Three (3) years utilizing business analytics tools
Two (2) years developing finance dashboards using PowerBI
Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or foreign equivalent
Alternatively, no degree and five (5) years of experience
