Responsibilities
Initiate, plan, execute, control and close assigned projects
Conduct meetings and group decision making process
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project team
Keep the senior management and others informed about project status and issues
Create program presentations & briefings
Develop and maintain project governing documents
Create and maintain integrated project schedules including coordination of resources
Maintains oversight of assigned projects to ensure they remain within scope, schedule and budget parameters
Track and report cost and schedule performance
Interface with internal departments, ensuring necessary procurement and fabrication of parts, materials and services for the specific projects
Administer project databases
Perform other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in business or STEM field and 10 years of related experience
5+ years of project/program management experience
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within aircraft design, manufacturing, and certification
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Organized and resourceful
Excellent communication skills
Ability to function under pressure
Comprehensive knowledge of Windows based computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form
Knowledgeable in regard to the safety policies and procedures of the Company
Preferred
Degree in an Engineering or Business with Aeronautical/Aerospace discipline
Project/program management certification from PMI or similar
General knowledge and skills associated with cross functional coordination in areas of design engineering, methodization, manufacturing planning, production control, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, aircraft fabrication and assembly and quality management, testing and certification functions
