Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of water professionals based in NYC

Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture

Support staff development through mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback

Promote health, safety, and wellbeing across the team

Oversee and contribute to the delivery of water and wastewater projects

Ensure technical quality, compliance, and innovation in project execution

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet client expectations

Build strong relationships with local clients and stakeholders

Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts in NYC

Assist in resource planning and utilization for the NYC team

Participate in hiring efforts and help identify talent needs within the team

Ensure compliance with internal processes and standards (QA/QC, timesheets, training)

Qualification

Water/Wastewater EngineeringProject DeliveryPE License in NYTeam LeadershipCommunication SkillsNYC InfrastructureMentoringInterpersonal Skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field

10+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and project delivery

PE license in NY (or ability to obtain)

Proven experience managing small to mid-sized teams or mentoring junior staff

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lead by example and promote a positive team culture

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field

Familiarity with NYC water infrastructure and local client needs
