Responsibilities

Execute the 1st Line of Defense privacy operating model that adheres to firmwide requirements and applicable law
Support programs to enhance AWM’s privacy program
Advise on privacy requirements for new initiatives
Ensure effective execution of privacy and data protection requirements, inclusive of privacy risk assessments, and management of procedures
Actively partner with the business and privacy teams to deliver required results
Engage in the appropriate committees and forums to provide transparency and collaborate with stakeholders on delivery of privacy initiatives
Assist the business with the design and execution of controls to address privacy business requirements and mitigate risks
Provide transparency through governance, reporting and metrics that support the privacy framework

Required

Experience in US privacy laws including the CCPA
Demonstrated ability in dealing with varied stakeholder groups
Experience in influencing and implementing change in complex environments
Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in process and product design decisions with geographically dispersed teams
Strategic thinker that can anticipate and resolve issues with a sense of urgency
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both business partners and technical stakeholders
Exceptional presentation and influencing skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

Experience within the banking or financial services industry
Privacy certifications such as CIPP
Experience integrating artificial intelligence solutions to enhance project outcomes and decision-making
Experience implementing automation to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency
Ability to foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and the adoption of new technologies
