Responsibilities

Meet and work with business, engineering, CAD, marketing, and manufacturing leaders to discuss projects

Gather necessary information and requirements from business leaders to complete a project. Develop and maintain project scopes, reports, and updates

Assist Technologies Manager and Director of Business Applications in organizing, reporting, and presenting project progress

Develop and create software ranging from desktop to web-based depending on requirements

Maintain and continually upgrade existing software created by you or other team members

Perform engineering calculations and provide technical support during project development

Research and understand the technical aspects of the construction products industry in relation to internal and external customer needs and outlook

Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and materials relative to our business

Research adjacent markets for product and technology opportunities

Lead cross-functional teams in the full cycle of product development and design to successfully bring products to market

Required

A minimum of 5-years applicable work experience

Technical degree in IT, Computer Science or related field required

Proficiency in C#, SQL, JavaScript, API integration, and Front end UI development is required

RAD and active UAT deployment experience, experience in the development and expansion of QPS

Must be hands-on, highly motivated, and energetic

Must possess demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to take ownership of product development projects and lead projects to successful completion - Full-stack development

Must have the ability to prioritize and manage several projects and maintain critical project timelines

A high level of detail orientation, analytical skills, and problem-solving is necessary

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
