Responsibilities

Uses independent judgment and discretion in diagnosing and formulating clinical treatment plans for clients; OR performs a variety of professional tasks related to developing, implementing, and conducting specialized individual and group psychotherapy in a clinical setting

May provide clinical intervention with individuals and families to conduct clinical assessments, and clinical meetings

May document client progress, compile case histories, and prepare other related reports; negotiate, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate service contracts; participate in research, training, and supervisory programs

Evaluates the needs of clients, develops and implements treatment plans to assist individuals and/or families with problems such as poor personal and family adjustment and/or anti-social behavior

Employees within this title will work in a correctional environment with an inmate population

An Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or Certified Social Worker

Previous experience with the community or assigned client base
