Responsibilities

Perform precision machining operations and CNC programming on CAM systems machining to create, repair, or alter a wide variety of complex parts, fixtures, tooling, sub-assemblies, and assemblies of all types of materials
Knowledge of G & M Codes
This includes planning, fixturing and layout of the job
Be expected to hold very tight tolerances (.0001-.0002)
Be responsible for the inspection and quality of all work performed
Work alongside Design Draftsmen and Manufacturing Engineers to find and execute a solution when issues arise, including detecting unusual conditions, defective materials and following operation instructions
Make technical decisions in the areas of fixturing, tooling, set-up, and inspection methods where well-defined instructions are occasionally absent

Qualification

CNC programmingG & M CodesCAD/CAM experiencePrecision machiningProblem-solving

Required

High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
4 years' experience as a diversified machinist
The ability to support 2nd Shift hours – 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM
Knowledge of G & M Codes
