Responsibilities
Ensures efficient and effective daily operations of the Patient Financial Services Department, including a high sensitivity to our corporate compliance guidelines, and supervision of processes and systems in financial counseling, customer service, and cashier services
Qualification
Required
Two years management and leadership experience required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Social Work, or related field required
In lieu of degree, a minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in hospital financial counseling, patient access, or revenue cycle operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, may be considered as equivalent
Problem solving and well developed analytical skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Computer Skills. Experienced in Microsoft Word & Excel
Federal and State Certified Application Counselor certification required or must obtain within first 1 year of employment
Preferred
Recent experience in Revenue Cycle, Social Work, or Case Management supervision
Epic ADT/Prelude and HB Resolute experience
