Responsibilities

Conduct rotor dynamics, system dynamics, and shafting analyses for aerospace turbomachinery
Perform complex finite element modeling, including linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, transient, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, harmonic, shock, and crack growth analyses
Provide technical oversight to global engineering teams and mentorship to junior engineers
Validate requirements, assess project compliance, and support risk management activities
Lead or support design reviews, technical presentations, and communication with cross-functional teams
Drive process improvements and contribute to engineering standards and best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
5+ years of experience conducting rotor dynamics analysis for aerospace turbomachinery
5+ years of experience performing Fan Blade Out (FBO) transient analyses for aerospace turbomachinery
Proficiency with ANSYS or NASTRAN finite element software
Strong analytical background in rotor dynamics, static/nonlinear/transient analysis, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, harmonic, random vibration, and crack growth methodologies
Strong English communication skills for delivering reports and presentations
Ability to commute to Phoenix, AZ 85034

Preferred

Experience mentoring engineers
Background in new product development within regulated environments
Demonstrated success resolving complex engineering problems
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
Proven track record supporting successful products and engineering projects
Process improvement mindset and strong attention to detail
