Start in 2026 SpringPratt Industries is a company focused on agriculture and packaging solutions, and they are seeking an Agriculture Mechanical Packaging Intern. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to maintenance responsibilities within the Mechanical Packaging Group, supporting technicians in the repair and maintenance of packaging machinery at customer sites.

Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining company-owned packaging machinery
Assist in diagnosing machine problems
Assist in maintaining organized documentation such as service records
Assist in the local shop to refurbish packaging machinery, as needed
Must demonstrate an understanding of both Pratt’s and the customer’s objectives relating to: productivity, safety, quality, customer service functions, and budgetary goals; your daily activity must align to achieve these goals
Serve as a resource to other technicians to assist in resolving maintenance issues
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in a Technical College pursuing a degree in the maintenance field
Able and willing to travel as required. The primary travel area will be North and South Carolina but there could be some overnight travel required
Able to work weekend and holidays
Ability to walk and stand on concrete or on uneven surfaces for 8-12 hours/day
Must have effective organizational and communication skills
Must have a positive, can-do attitude
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Able to work outdoors in a non-climate controlled environment
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a professional appearance with the ability to communicate to customers in a polite, respectful manner
Preferred
Ideal candidate will live in North Carolina
