Responsibilities
Design manufacturing processes that meet schedule, cost, and quality goals
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods to enhance throughput and reduce waste
Analyze workflow, space utilization, and labor requirements to design efficient workstations and production layouts
Collaborate with production teams on product design and tooling needs to ensure manufacturability and process efficiency
Interface with customers to review product specifications, manage design changes, and respond to engineering requests
Estimate production times, staffing needs, and associated costs to support business planning and decision-making
Work closely with engineering, management, and production teams to align capabilities with production schedules and operational goals
Apply statistical methods to predict manufacturing requirements, analyze performance, and support process optimization
Qualification
Required
Engineering degree in a related field or equivalent technical experience/training required
Experience requirements vary by level (entry to senior): Entry Level: 0–3 years, Mid Level: 3–8 years, Senior Level: 8–10+ years
Proficiency with CAD tools and interpreting technical drawings
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; ability to diagnose and resolve production issues
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering and production teams
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound technical decisions
Preferred
Experience with testing tools such as oscilloscopes, harness testers, or logic analyzers is beneficial
Familiarity with automation tools, PLC programming, or robotics is a plus
