Responsibilities
Cutting and trimming grass within the Flood Protection Authority right-of-way, including, but not limited to, floodwalls, poles, dead-end streets, and trees
The incumbent will be required to use gas- or diesel-powered tools and cutting equipment
The incumbent will operate one or more of the following types of equipment as a primary, regular, and recurring function of the job, including but not limited to, weed eaters, pole saws, chainsaws, lawnmowers, edgers, loppers, hand pruners, and self-propelled cutting equipment
Performs miscellaneous labor duties such as cleaning of Maintenance yard. Washing vehicles, trimming trees, graffiti removal and sand bagging where problems develop
