Responsibilities
Source, evaluate and maintain relationships with trusted suppliers
Negotiate commodity materials based on pricing trends and market indices
Monitor global and domestic market conditions, including supply fluctuations and seasonality
Manage inventory levels to support production schedules
Collaborate closely with production, QA, R&D, logistics and finance teams
Maintain accurate purchasing data within ERP and procurement systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or two to four years related experience and training or a combination of education and experience
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Experience working with an ERP/MRP system
Excellent computer skills
Demonstrated negotiation skills and analytical skills
Sound judgment and decision making skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
