Brooks Rehabilitation is a healthcare organization seeking a Network Administrator to ensure the stability, integrity, and security of their voice and data network services. The role involves implementing, maintaining, and monitoring local and wide area networks as part of a Network Engineering team.

Responsibilities
Provide trouble-shooting support & coordinate with hardware or network support resources as problems are reported through the Help Desk and as assigned by manager
Assist with on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of network problems for a variety of end users, and implement corrective hardware and software solutions as directed
Maintain documentation related to network and systems resources and services
Implement network improvements, upgrades, and repairs and directed
Ensure security standards are adhered to
Contribute to on-site and off-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution efforts of network problems for a variety of end users, and implement corrective hardware and software solutions
Maintain network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, and UPS’s
Utilize database tools to maintain inventory of hardware and software
Perform hardware and software installs or upgrade requests to meet deadlines
Maintain a record of hardware incidents for use in analysis and interaction with the vendor
Utilize software tools to analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot systems
Respond to system malfunctions after normal working hours as on-call rotation is assigned
Respond to emergency network outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans
Travel to remote sites to provide site surveys and systems support as needed
Maintain equipment work area and spare parts storage
Attend training as requested by management
Prepare and attend regularly scheduled departmental, subcommittee and steering committee meetings
Participate in self-instruction methods, in-house training and outside training opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree that emphasizes math, business or computer science with 2 years PC or network support experience
Associates Degree with 4 years PC & network support experience
Working knowledge with routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, NAT
Experience administering Cisco Meraki networks
Experience creating and maintaining network diagrams and configuration documentation
Experience installing and configuring network equipment including routers, switches, access points, and cabling
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Working knowledge of supporting network voice, data, and collaboration services
Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
Working knowledge of wireless technologies
Preferred
Industry certifications such as Network +, Security + and/or CCNA preferred
Experience configuring and managing Cisco FMC, FTD platforms
Experience configuring site-to-site IPsec VPN tunnels
