Responsibilities
Analyze insurance applications and evaluate risks associated with small business accounts in the E&S market
Determine appropriate rates, terms, and conditions for coverage based on risk analysis and market trends
Collaborate with brokers to gather necessary information, provide clarification, and negotiate terms and conditions
Utilize underwriting guidelines and company standards to make sound underwriting decisions
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the E&S market
Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration
Assist in developing and implementing underwriting strategies to achieve profitability and growth objectives
Review and approve endorsements, audits, and other policy changes as necessary
Travel as needed for client meetings, training sessions, and industry events
