Responsibilities

Provide critical input and leadership for all aspects of daily hospital operations
Maintain efficient, fiscally responsible business practices that support excellent patient care, client satisfaction, and a strong student learning environment
Oversee facilities maintenance and maintain financial oversight for operations
Ensure effective and efficient operations while resolving client billing concerns and service-related issues
Work effectively with faculty and directly manage supervisory staff, including Lead Technicians and Clinical Technicians in EFAVC
Manage all aspects of the HR lifecycle—hiring, onboarding, performance planning, coaching, and staff development
Foster a positive, collaborative work and learning environment for staff and students
Provide guidance, support, and escalation resolution for client-facing staff as needed
Collaborate closely with the Director on planning, organizing, and managing operations, policy development, and business processes
Lead transitions, anticipate operational challenges, and develop data-informed strategies to enhance programs and elevate the client experience
Partner with the Director to monitor financials and uphold high standards of patient care and customer service

Required

Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in the area of assignment, of which at least one is supervisory; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions
Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and support staff in a dynamic clinical or service-oriented environment
Proven experience coordinating complex, multi-shift scheduling and managing multiple operational priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information for diverse audiences
Track record of performing effectively in a fast-paced, continuously changing healthcare or service setting
Ability to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds; with or without a reasonable accommodation
Valid NC Driver's License required

Preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with veterinary, medical, or clinical service operations
Experience supervising staff across multiple locations, including designing, delivering, or improving training and professional development
Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships, contribute to a collaborative team culture, and effectively de-escalate challenging situations
Strong organizational and planning skills, including managing timelines, aligning resources, and supporting operational goals
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, or comparable office and data-management tools
