The role involves leading data modeling, DAX development, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable, optimized Power BI semantic models (star schema, fact/dim design)
Develop advanced DAX calculations, measures, KPIs, and time-intelligence logic
Create complex interactive dashboards, paginated reports, and embedded analytics, including bookmarks, tooltips, navigation elements, and parameters
Implement and maintain row-level security (RLS)
Optimize semantic model performance through proper modeling, measures & calculated columns, and query folding
Validate data quality, accuracy, lineage, and reconciliation against source systems
Support Direct Query, Import, Hybrid Tables, and Composite models
Mentor junior Power BI developers in best practices and technical skills
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into analytics solutions, and drive adoption
Lead code reviews and presentations to stakeholders

Required

5+ years of experience building enterprise Power BI solutions
Expert-level DAX and data modeling skills
Strong proficiency with SQL, relational databases, and ETL concepts
Experience with UX/UI design best practices
Strong performance optimization experience
Bachelor's degree in MIS, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field

Preferred

Experience with Azure technologies (ADLS, ADF, Databricks, Azure SQL, Synapse, Fabric)
Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD
Knowledge of statistical analysis or predictive analytics
