Seasonal - Program Coordinator - Healthcare Provider - Tanglewood 4-H Learning Center
The University of Maine is seeking a Seasonal Program Coordinator for their Tanglewood 4-H Learning Center, focusing on environmental education for youth. Work closely with the Director and camp administration to ensure a successful summer program for both counselors and campers
Play a crucial role in mentoring best practices for maintaining program quality, participant safety and wellness, and staff wellness
Reside on-site throughout the season, with structured time off each week
Qualification
Required
Licensed Registered Nurse (current in the State of Maine) OR other appropriate training as approved by the camp physician, e.g., EMT, WFR, NP, or PA
Current CPR and First Aid certifications
Ability to update and/or monitor health care, maintain records, and implement the health care plan
Genuine compassion for and ability to get along well with children of all ages
Ability to travel outdoors over various terrain, responding efficiently in the event of an emergency
Preferred
Experience in a summer camp setting is desirable
