RF Microwave Design Engineer
Northrop Grumman is a leading company in technological advancements, seeking an RF Microwave Design Engineer for their Amherst Systems business unit. The role involves supporting RF leads, running simulations, and contributing to technical tasks within the RF Electronics Engineering organization.

Responsibilities
Support RF leads in various projects
Run basic simulations using software tools
Read and understand RF schematics, source control drawings, and block diagrams
Continuously learn and grow in the areas of test equipment and troubleshooting
Work under general supervision and contribute to the completion of assigned technical tasks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other STEM degree field and 2 years of related engineering experience
Knowledge on RF test equipment such as PNAs, Spectrum Analyzers and Power Meters
Knowledge of simulation and design software
U.S. citizenship
Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance. Secret clearance is not required to start. Must be able to maintain this level of clearance for continued employment
Preferred
Hands on experience on RF test equipment such as PNAs, Spectrum Analyzers and Power Meters
Ability to use engineering analysis tools such as MATLAB, ADS, HFSS and GENESYS
Active U.S. DOD Secret Clearance
Master's degree in engineering, Business Management, Engineering Leadership, or equivalent
