Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect, manipulate, and analyze data
Define business dimensions and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Perform data profiling and analysis to create detailed logical models identifying all the entities, attributes and their relationships along with their associated characteristics
Develop Multidimensional and Tabular Models with measures and aggregations using MDX and DAX
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues in BI platform and source systems
Conduct training to help end users leverage and enhance their knowledge of the BI platform and tools
Maintain and Enhance physical models for BI Platform including Data Warehouse and staging areas
Qualification
Required
2+ years direct BI development experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), PowerBI, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), PowerPivot, Domo, or Tableau
2+ years of experience with a major Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) like MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
1+ years of experience in developing data warehouses, data marts, tabular (DAX), or multi-dimensional solutions (MDX)
1+ year Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) design and development best practices, BI-specific software, analytics programs, and reporting tools
Bachelor's Degree is required with an emphasis on Business Analytics, Data Science, Big Data, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities
Analytical and problem-solving expertise
Ability to collaborate and function in a team environment
Customer and quality focused
Excellent organization and time management skills
Knowledge of change management concepts and processes
