Responsibilities
Lead a team of 6 engineers and 2 technicians, setting goals, managing priorities, and fostering individual growth
Serve as the hands-on technical lead for PCBA electrical validation as well as module and system level validation
Drive sustaining engineering efforts, including root cause and corrective action (RCCA) for issues found in the field
Collaborate with and influence key cross-functional partners, including Hardware Systems, Safety, Test organizations, and Electrical Engineering (EE)
Address and improve communication challenges within the team to enhance collaboration and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field
Proven experience in a technical leadership or management role
Expertise in PCBA electrical validation, including both module and system-level validation for low-voltage, mass-produced consumer electronics
Demonstrated experience with board bring-up
Strong focus on product reliability
Experience with safety standards (e.g., from an organization like Apple) is beneficial, but the primary focus is on reliability
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders
