Talentsearchpro is seeking a Loan Officer with formal credit training and underwriting knowledge. The role involves soliciting commercial clients, generating a variety of loans, and contributing to deposit growth through cross-selling banking products.

Responsibilities

Solicit commercial clients; aggressively seek and obtain quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross-selling efforts

Obtain and maintain Centers of Influence (COIs) and attend various networking events in the assigned geographic area

Utilize skills and experience in loan structuring and credit analysis

Generate a wide variety of commercial and real estate loans

Close loans typically in the $250,000 to $10 million range

Contribute to deposit growth by cross-selling and promoting additional banking products

Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in banking, finance, or other related field

Formally credit trained and/or underwriting knowledge and experience

Typically, a minimum of 3 years direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships

Familiarity with the sales, loan processing, and closing processes

Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products and services including working knowledge of Mortgage, Commercial & Industrial (C&I), as well as Owner-Occupied and Investment Commercial Real Estate loans

Proven track record of business development
