As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will work closely with experienced machinists, engineers, and technicians to support the daily operations of high-volume cutting and metal forming shops, contributing to the production of aerospace components.

Responsibilities

Support the execution of laser cutting and water jet operations to prepare and deliver high-precision components under the guidance of experienced team members

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD modelsassisted with digital work instructions to assist in the setup and production of aerospace parts

Operate metal forming equipment including but not limited to brake presses, shears, English wheels, rollers, and drill presses with the assistance of experienced technicians and leadership

Aid in the in-process inspection and measurement of parts using precision hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and various gauges ensuring parts meet aerospace industry standards and tolerances

Help with the setup and basic maintenance of machines, including cleaning and tool changes

Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while operating machinery and handling materials

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks

Assist in documenting production processes, measurements, and quality control checks as required
